the sprinkle fam after a long, wet walk!sunday night was a wonderful night! what a great start to the thanksgiving/Christmas season...
gam and pappy invited us to walk through fantasy in lights for the annual march of dimes walk...a five mile walk through the beautiful callaway gardens fantasy in lights display. gam packed us all little picnic baskets full of sandwiches and goodies, and we were on our way to pine mountain. the cold, rainy weather didn't stop us, and we made it through in record time with natalie's jogging stroller!! natalie was mesmerized...she truly loved the lights and didn't care for a second that she was cold. it was so nice to be with family and to listen to the songs of the season. we finished up the night in the little tent at the end of the course, where natalie was surprised to meet rudolph the red-nosed reindeer and santa! she loved santa this year!!
walking through the lights got me in the spirit to focus on the "Light of the world"...i am going to try NOT to get stressed by the birthday party details, present buying, house cleaning, card sending and decorating tasks of this time of year. instead, it will be my aim to focus on "the true Light that gives light to every man" (John 1:9)

Oh how we will miss FOL this Christmas! We usually go every year and I know Caroline would love it as well! Way to go for booking it 5 miles with Natalie- she is precious!
